Configure interface in Open WebUI
Overview
This guide explains how to configure the user interface in Open WebUI, including both personal user settings and administrator-level customizations. It covers appearance, language, prompt suggestions, banners, and other interface elements. All configurations are compatible with GRACE.
User Guide
For Normal Users

Accessing Personal Interface Settings:
- Navigate to your Profile and select Settings.

- Theme: Choose between dark, light, or system theme.
- Language: Select your preferred interface language.
- Title Generation: Configure how chat titles are autogenerated.
- Chat Tags: Set tags for organizing your chats.
- Background Image: Optionally set a background image for your interface.

- Go to the Admin Panel > Settings > Interface.

Managing Example Prompts and Suggestions:
- Control the default prompt suggestions shown to users.
- Add new suggestions by clicking the plus (+) button and providing a title, subtitle, and prompt.
- Assign prompt suggestions to specific models for targeted guidance.

Configuring Banners:
- Create banners to communicate important information to users (e.g., success messages, warnings, or known errors).
- Click plus (+) to add a new banner, select the type (information, warning, error), and enter the content.
- Enable or disable banners as needed for temporary or ongoing notifications.

Customizing Title and Image Generation:
- Set custom prompts for how chat titles are generated. If left empty, the default (which may include emojis) is used.
- Control which models are used for generating titles and images.

Web Search Prompt Configuration:
- Adjust the prompt responsible for web search queries. Leaving it empty uses the default prompt.

- Use prompt suggestions to guide users, especially for demo or onboarding purposes.
- Review and update banners regularly to keep users informed.
- Test interface changes to ensure a positive user experience.
