Create & Manage Frameworks
EveryoneAI governance
Stand: 25.05.2025
Overview
The Framework Setup section in GRACE allows users to create, describe, and configure new compliance or regulatory frameworks. These frameworks can then be associated with specific controls to ensure alignment with jurisdictional, industry, and organizational requirements.
Accessing Framework Setup
To begin creating or managing frameworks:
- Navigate to the Frameworks section in the Grace interface.
- Click on Setup Frameworks.
Viewing Existing Frameworks
Upon accessing the setup page, you will first see an overview of existing frameworks. This provides insight into previously created frameworks and their attributes.
Creating a New Framework
To create a new framework, follow these steps:
- Click “Create New Framework”
-
Enter Framework Details
- Name & Description: Provide a meaningful name and a brief description of the framework.
- Type: Select the framework type (e.g., regulatory, internal).
- Country of Jurisdiction: Choose the country the framework applies to (e.g., Austria).
- Industry Association: Specify if the framework applies to a particular industry.
- Classification Identifier (Optional): Link the framework to a classification system (e.g., EUI Risk Classification) if applicable. Leave blank if not relevant.
Adding Controls to a Framework
Once the framework metadata is set:
-
Click “Add Controls”
- A list of previously created controls will appear.
-
Select Relevant Controls
- Choose controls to associate with the framework.
- If a control is already linked to another framework (e.g., GDPR), this will be indicated in the Source column.
-
Establish Associations
- Controls can be reused across multiple frameworks.
- Grace tracks these associations to maintain clarity and prevent duplication.
Finalizing the Framework
Once all controls are selected:
-
Save Options
- Save as Draft: Save the framework for future editing.
- Save and Complete: Finalize and activate the framework along with its control associations.
