Overview

GRACE allows you to customize the information captured in the registry. The platform comes with a standard set of elements for registry items, which can be extended or modified using custom fields and lists.

User Guide
1. Accessing Custom Fields and Lists
  1. Navigate to Master Data → Custom Fields and Lists.
  2. You will see a list of:
    • Standard lists
    • Custom lists
2. Managing Lists

Lists control the selection options (dropdowns) for registry items. You can:

  • Add new items to a list
  • Remove existing items
  • Deactivate items to maintain historical data
  • Review the full history of changes to track active or inactive items
3. Managing Fields

Fields control the data elements on a registry item that a user can fill in.

Key Features:

  • Apply changes to hierarchy elements:
    • Use cases
    • Systems
    • Models
  • Edit drafts for any hierarchy element
  • Manage both default and custom fields
  • Set fields as active or inactive
  • Add new custom fields using the Field Builder Wizard
Field Options
  • Mandatory vs Optional: Define whether a field must be filled in
  • Sectioning: Organize fields into logical sections
  • Field Types:
    • Text
    • Number
    • Date
    • Other types as supported
4. Previewing Registry Items
  • Use Preview mode to see how the registry item will appear after fields are activated.
  • Ensures layout, order, and field types are correct before publishing.
