Stand: 25.05.2025

Overview

One of the key responsibilities of the second line of defense in risk management is to oversee and manage controls and frameworks within the system. The Grace platform provides robust customization capabilities that support this function effectively. This guide walks you through the steps to manage these elements using the Governance Master Data settings in Grace.

Accessing Governance Master Data

To begin managing controls and frameworks, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Left Panel
On the main interface, locate the left-hand navigation panel. Look for the Governance Master Data section.
  2. Check Your Permissions
Ensure you have the appropriate user rights. If permissions are granted, the Governance Master Data option will be visible and accessible.

Managing Lists

Within Governance Master Data, you can manage Lists, which serve as the foundation for various selection options users interact with across Grace.

Examples of List Usage
  • Registration Processes
    • Lists are used during registration of: Use Cases, Systems, Models

Managing Controls

You can directly manage and customize Controls in this section. These controls help in tracking and maintaining compliance and operational procedures throughout the system.

Setting Up Frameworks

Frameworks in Grace are combinations of controls structured to align with regulatory and organizational policies.

Why Use Frameworks?

  • Allow for consistent application of policies across multiple use cases
  • Enhance reporting and compliance tracking
